Karin Frost, owner and designer of ERGObaby, created the new Organic line of carriers and accessories in response to the increased awareness for eco-friendly products and sustainable production methods. She traveled to India in 2007 to visit the textile mill where our fabric is produced by a company that was the first in India to be organically certified in 1996. We realize that our customers want to know that our fabric choices are eco-conscious and that we trust and feel good about the mill involved.

The inspection is conducted annually from the farms to the processing plant. The dyes are certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to meet European standards and SGS to meet all U.S. Federal, State and Local Regulations as well as compliance with the European Standard EN 71 Part 3:1994 +A1:2000.
